Nume Plus participated in SIMCUP2019, the most important medical simulation event at an academic level in Italy, open to students, postgraduate students and professionals in medicine and nursing. The competition saw 25 teams take part who, using the simulation corners present, tackled and managed critical hospital and pre-hospital situations with different types of patients (adult, pediatric, neo-natal and pregnant women).
Nume Plus provided Body Interact, the virtual patient simulator that enables training of the medics and nurses of tomorrow, testing them with clinical cases that closely correspond to reality. The decision-making process, critical thought and teamwork are the elements needed to conclude the clinical case with success and obtain a high score. For the 2019 edition, Nume Plus participated both as sponsor and contributing to the competition prize pool, offering the use of Body Interact to the universities of the winning teams.
A heartfelt thanks goes to Pier Luigi Ingrassia (Simnova Director and SimCup, Upo founder) and Luca Carenzo (SimCup, Upo founder) and to the tutors that assisted the teams throughout the event.
