Virtual Reality

The virtual reality devices offer immersive experiences that are true to reality: recent technological developments have made it possible to improve the quality and realistic sense of the overall experience.

These devices can be deployed in various ways in medicine: one of the fields of particular interest is training, through the development of highly immersive simulations. Virtual reality expands the potential scope of simulation since it can reproduce virtual scenarios that would otherwise be impossible to create due to complexity or cost.
